Bio

Sandeep Stanley focuses on all aspects of intellectual property disputes, with particular experience working on patent and high-tech copyright litigation. Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Stanley was an aerospace engineer and a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trade-mark Office, where he examined patents in autonomous vehicle navigation, robotics and neural networks.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Stanley’s pro bono work has included an amicus brief on behalf of professor Pamela Samuelson in Sedlik v. Von Drachenberg, a seminal Ninth Circuit copyright case, and an intervenor’s brief in a complex administrative litigation on appeal before the First Circuit. Mr. Stanley will be clerking for the Hon. Gregory B. Williams of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in fall 2026.
