Skadden’s move to a state-of-the-art space at Texas Tower in Houston has been featured in two Law360 articles.

In “Office Snapshot: Skadden Feels the ‘Energy’ in Houston Move,” office head Noelle Reed discussed how the Houston team has nearly tripled its roster in just the last three years, growing across energy and infrastructure, M&A, capital markets and tax.

The new 52,000-square-foot space spans two floors and is roughly twice the size of the prior office, featuring modern amenities, a private outdoor terrace and dining and entertaining options. “You can feel the energy people have in this new, bright space,” Ms. Reed said.

Ms. Reed reflected on the office’s evolution from an energy-focused practice into a multi-practice office handling M&A, capital markets, litigation, tax and executive compensation and benefits matters. Recent lateral additions — including M&A partners Emery Choi and Mingda Zhao, M&A and capital markets partner Stephen Gill and litigation partner Michelle Scheffler — underscore the office’s continued growth trajectory.

Ms. Reed also highlighted the Houston team’s rising headcount in “Skadden Inks New Houston Lease in First Move in 2 Decades,” noting, “The significant expansion of our footprint is critical to support our continued growth through both internal promotions and key lateral opportunities.”
