Cybersecurity and Data Privacy

Skadden’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy group in Washington, D.C. is seeking outstanding junior and mid-level associates to join its Global Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice. Candidates should have two to four years of relevant experience, which includes handling cybersecurity, data privacy, or artificial intelligence matters. The ideal candidates will have experience assisting with: (i) cybersecurity preparedness and data breach response, (ii) compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy law in the US, and/or (iii) regulatory investigations relating to cybersecurity and data privacy issues. High level of academic achievement and solid law firm experience preferred. A strong interest in the field of cybersecurity and data privacy is desired. Work experience in the federal government or law enforcement on cybersecurity or data privacy issues, including non-legal experience, is welcome.

Skadden’s multidisciplinary Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice assists clients in navigating the rapidly evolving cybersecurity, privacy and technology landscapes. Our team serves as a global one-stop shop for our clients’ cybersecurity, incident response, data protection, privacy and related AI challenges. We advise on high-stakes cybersecurity and privacy matters on behalf of Fortune 500 and other companies, including private equity firms and their portfolio companies, spanning a multitude of industries, such as aerospace and defense, energy, finance, health care, telecommunications and transportation.

In addition, associates who join Skadden laterally participate in an enhanced mentor program, which specifically focuses on the unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions.
