New York intellectual property partner Jose Esteves chaired PLI's "IP Monetization 2013" conference held in New York on May 1. The conference was designed for those who are new to IP monetization and for those who already are active in the field. Mr. Esteves provided an overview and analysis of IP monetization techniques. He also discussed IP litigation financing, including the models and techniques employed in litigation financing, attorney-client relationship considerations, pros and cons of using litigation financing, and noteworthy recent developments and trends. The conference also was held in San Francisco on April 16 and webcast live.
