On April 23, Skadden held a seminar in New York titled "Hot Topics in Commercial Litigation: What Every In-House Lawyer Should Know." Panelists provided insights into emerging issues in commercial litigation and brought seminar participants up to date on topical recent developments, including key decisions regarding attorney-client privilege (and waiver); highlights of pertinent changes in federal and state rules impacting business litigators; and relevant case law developments from the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division, and the Delaware Court of Chancery. Guest speakers were Justice Melvin L. Schweitzer of the Commercial Division and Thomson Reuters "On the Case" editor Alison Frankel. Skadden speakers included Lauren Aguiar, Boris Bershteyn, Jonathan Frank, Robert Fumerton, Judge Judith Kaye, Judge Stephen Robinson, Susan Saltzstein and George Zimmerman.
