Brussels antitrust and competition partner Ingrid Vandenborre spoke at the "2015 Asia Forum — Beijing," presented by the International Law Section of the American Bar Association November 16-17. During a panel discussion titled "IP Issues in M&A Transactions," Ms. Vandenborre served as a panel chair. The discussion covered issues relating to the IP component of a transaction, such as valuation of IP, IP protection, due diligence and antitrust review. Ms. Vandenborre also spoke on a separate panel, "Hot Topics About Standards and FRAND Commitments," which focused on developments on the antitrust and IP interface regarding standards and FRAND (fair, reasonable and nondiscriminatory) commitments.
