Palo Alto executive compensation and benefits partner Joseph Yaffe spoke at the "Executive Compensation 2017: Strategy, Design, and Implementation" conference, presented by American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education, June 8-9 in New York. Mr. Yaffe spoke on a panel titled "Hirings and Firings in 2016/2017 – What Was New/Old in Executive Agreements?" The panel discussed executive employment agreement issues in M&A, the difference between public and private company employment agreements, and how they are affected by legislative and regulatory changes.
