IBA Arb40 Symposium: Salient Issues in International Arbitration

On February 22, New York international litigation and arbitration counsel Sharmistha Chakrabarti spoke on the panel “Current Challenges in International Arbitration: Environmental Concerns and Seat Selection” as part of the International Bar Association’s Arb40 Symposium. The panel debated whether the international arbitration framework is equipped to handle disputes involving complex environmental issues and if Asia-based arbitration seats will continue to increase in popularity in the coming decade.
