On November 3-4, Skadden tax attorneys Elizabeth Askey, Su Da and Christopher Murphy spoke at the 41st Annual TEI-SJSU High Tech Tax Institute in Palo Alto. On November 3, Ms. Da participated in a breakout session on “IP Development and Migration Tax Matters,” which examined global trends in IP development and migration, including examination issues and planning considerations. On November 4, Ms. Askey and Mr. Murphy spoke on the panel “Controversy and Guidance in a Constrained and Restricted Environment,” which focused on the current regulatory climate, limitations on Treasury and IRS guidance, risk management strategies and the growing importance of state agency actions.
