Now that the European Commission has adopted the regulatory technical standards to supplement the Sustainability-Related Disclosure Regulation and EU Taxonomy Regulation, private fund managers operating in or marketing to investors in Europe will need to start preparing soon to ensure they can obtain the requisite data and implement appropriate systems to maintain compliance with the ESG-related disclosure obligations the regulations impose.
