Rafique Bachour
Bio
Mr. Bachour has extensive experience managing large-scale transactions that require global regulatory and merger-control strategies. He has advised clients across a range of sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, mining, aviation and electronics, among others. He also regularly counsels global financial investors, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds on investments and compliance matters.
Mr. Bachour also regularly counsels on antitrust compliance and investigations, having defended clients in antitrust investigations focused on automotive products, computer components, semiconductors and renewable fuels, among other areas.
In recognition of his work, Mr. Bachour has been ranked as a leader in his field in Chambers Global and Chambers Europe, as well as honored by Lexology Index: Competition as a Global Elite Thought Leader. He also lectures at King’s College London, where he teaches a course on competition law.
