Bio

Ms. Zhang’s experience includes advising:

  • L’Occitane Groupe S.A. and Reinold Geiger, the majority shareholder of L’Occitane International, S.A., on the take-private acquisition for L’Occitane International (a Hong Kong-listed company), which valued the company at US$6.4 billion
  • SharkNinja, Inc. on its spin-off from Hong Kong-listed issuer JS Global Lifestyle Company Limited and separate listing on the New York Stock Exchange
  • L’Occitane International S.A. on its acquisition of Dr. Vranges Firenze S.p.A.; acquisition of 83% of Sol de Janeiro Holdings, Inc.; and acquisition of 65% of Grown Alchemist (Group Fourteen Holdings Pty. Ltd., which is the holding company for the Grown Alchemist brand)
  • Yixin Group Limited on its spin-off from Bitauto Holdings Limited via a US$870 million initial public offering of shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • E-House China Holdings Limited on its proposed acquisition of additional stake in TM Home Limited and placings to, among others, Taobao China Holding Limited and Yunfeng Capital Limited
  • Kanzhun Limited on its US$290 million follow-on offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • MINISO Group Holding Limited on its offering of equity-linked securities in the principal amount of US$550 million
  • NetEase, Inc. on its US$3.1 billion secondary listing of new ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and subsequently, its migration from secondary to dual-primary listing status on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. on its US$1.3 billion secondary listing of common shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • NetEase Cloud Music Inc. (f/k/a Cloud Village Inc.) on its spin-off from Hong Kong-listed NetEase Inc. via a US$421 million initial public offering of ordinary shares and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Neusoft Education Technology Co. Limited on its US$134 million initial public offering of ordinary shares and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Koolearn Technology Holding Limited, a subsidiary of New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc., on its US$246 million initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; RMB94 million (US$13.4 million) acquisition of the remaining 49% equity interest in Dongfang Youbo; and US$230 million share issue to controlling shareholder New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. and Michael Minhong Yu, the company’s chairman
