On May 3, Skadden received the 2010 Best Legal Project award from German business publication PLATOW Recht. The inaugural award, which honors “innovation, complexity, efficiency and social relevance” in the legal profession, recognized Skadden’s restructuring work on behalf of German cable giant Tele Columbus Group. The deal marked the first time a German operating company used English schemes of arrangement to restructure.
