For the second consecutive year, Skadden was named the “Dispute Resolution Team of the Year” at the Legal Business Awards in London on February 7. The firm was recognized for its landmark 2012 victory on behalf of Roman Abramovich in his $6 billion dispute with Boris Berezovsky, which was the largest case ever in the English Commercial Court and the largest private dispute in history.
The firm also was “commended” in the “Corporate Team of the Year” category, and London partner Douglas Nordlinger was “commended” in the “Lawyer of the Year” category for his work on behalf of the Republic of South Sudan.
