Palo Alto tax partner Emily Lam and executive compensation and benefits partner Joseph Yaffe spoke at the 24th Annual Stanford Directors’ College June 24-26 at Stanford Law School. Ms. Lam’s panel, “The Impact of Corporate Tax Reform,” addressed specific tax reduction steps to consider following Congress’ recent tax reform legislation. Mr. Yaffe’s panel, titled “Dealing With Proxy Advisors,” discussed details behind the power and influence of proxy advisory firms and the best strategies for dealing with them.
