On May 3, we hosted our annual Political Law Seminar in our New York office. Speakers discussed best practices for navigating the laws and regulations related to pay-to-play; criminal liability; federal, state and local government procurement; lobbying; campaign finance; and gifts and entertainment provided to public officials. Partner and general counsel Lawrence Spiegel served as keynote speaker. Political law head Ki Hong led the conference. Speakers included political law partner Charles Ricciardelli, counsel Matthew Bobys, Melissa Miles and Tyler Rosen, and associates Theodore Grodek and Sam Rothbloom; and white collar defense and investigations partners Alessio D. Evangelista and Jessie K. Liu.
