26th Annual US and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference

On April 15-17, tax partners Jisun Choi (London), Kathleen Gregor (Boston) and Loren Ponds (Washington, D.C.) participated in the 26th annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends conference, presented by the International Bar Association’s Taxation Section and the American Bar Association, held in Rome. Ms. Choi spoke in the session “M&A Hot Topics,” Ms. Gregor served as a co-chair of the conference and presented opening remarks and Ms. Ponds co-chaired the plenary session “Hot Topics in Tax Treaties.” The conference focused on “practical tax practice trends for multinational corporations and their international advisors” and shared insights into “how government tax officials may view the international tax landscape” in the wake of important developments impacting corporate taxpayers.
