Bio
Mr. Hui previously clerked as a judicial assistant at the Court of Final Appeal, the highest appellate court in Hong Kong. He is currently a member of the Expert Advisory Group on Legal and Dispute Resolution Services, chaired by the Secretary for Justice for Hong Kong. In addition, he has been appointed by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a member of the Passports Appeals Board and Appeal Panel (Housing). Mr. Hui is also a member of the Steering Committee of IBA Arb 40 (the under-40 arbitration group of the International Bar Association) and the Hong Kong Law Society’s Greater China Legal Affairs and Arbitration committees. Between 2022-24, Mr. Hui was a committee member of HK45, a young practitioner group formed under the auspices of the HKIAC.
Mr. Hui writes and speaks regularly on developments in international arbitration, and he has been invited to appear as a guest lecturer at various universities, including Beijing Jiaotong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Shenzhen University and the University of Hong Kong.
