Skadden is advising New Fortress Energy Inc. (NFE) in connection with its restructuring transactions and its Restructuring Support Agreement, to be implemented as part of a UK Restructuring Plan (UK RP). Through the UK RP process, creditors will exchange NFE debt for a combination of debt, common and preferred equity.
The transaction is expected to close by the third quarter of 2026, subject to court availability, customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
