On March 27, Skadden hosted the webinar “What Does the Future Hold for Class Actions? U.S. Trends That May Spread to the U.K. and Europe,” part two of our Class Actions: The Transatlantic Showdown series. Skadden speakers included London international litigation and arbitration partner Nicholas Adams; Brussels antitrust/competition partner Bill Batchelor; New York mass torts, insurance and consumer litigation partner Meredith Slawe; and securities litigation partner Tansy Woan. The panelists explored trends in U.S. class action cases that may soon be seen in claims in the U.K. and Europe, including with regard to matters involving mass tort/class action arbitration, AI, technology and securities litigation.
