Bio
Marta Navarro Hernandez advises clients on all aspects of EU, U.K. and international competition law, including merger control, antitrust investigations and compliance issues. She has been involved in several high-profile matters requiring international antitrust merger control approvals both in Europe and around the world.
Ms. Navarro’s experience includes advising:- Berry Global Group, Inc. on its $37 billion acquisition by Amcor plc
- Catalent, Inc. on its $16.5 billion acquisition by Novo Holdings A/S, the holding and investment company for the Novo Nordisk Foundation
- New Fortress Energy on its $5 billion acquisition of Hygo Energy Transition and Golar LNG Partners
- Prada S.p.A. on its $1.38 billion acquisition of Gianni Versace S.r.l. from Capri Holdings Limited
- Renault Group on the restructuring of its long-standing partnership with Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.
- Willis Towers Watson on its:
- $4 billion sale of Willis Re to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
- proposed (but terminated) $80 billion combination with Aon plc
- WSP Global Inc. on its $1.8 billion acquisition of POWER Engineers, Inc.
Prior to joining Skadden, Ms. Navarro completed numerous traineeships in the Madrid offices of other leading international law firms.
