On July 10, members of Skadden’s China corporate team participated in the South China Financial Executives Association’s (SCFEA’s) Beijing Summit. China practice co-head Paloma Wang joined the panel discussion “Corporate Capital Operations and Risk Response in the Context of Geopolitics.” Beijing office head Shu Du, together with counsel Layton Niu and Charles Shi, delivered the presentation “Cross-Border Legal and Regulatory Considerations in the AI Era.” Counsel Martina To was also in attendance. The conference was attended by more than 50 CFOs and C-suite executives from public and private companies.
